Which iPhones
iPhone 15 Pro and later. Dual needs two cameras running at once, which every supported phone can do.
Pre-roll
With pre-roll on, the camera is always holding the last stretch of picture and sound. Press record and that stretch is the start of your clip. Choose how much from the chip at the top of the camera.
Dual
Turn on DUAL and both cameras record at once. A take gives you three clips: the rear camera's file, the front camera's file, both untouched and running on one clock, and a ready to post version with the second camera inset. The inset's corner, size and shape are in ADVANCED, and the ready to post file can be remade any time from the Take screen. Drop the two originals on a timeline and they line up on their own.
Where clips go
Clips stay in the app until you share them. Share to Photos, Files, Messages, or any app from the clip or the Take screen.
Free forever, and the mark
Everything is on from the first take. Clips that leave your phone carry a small Doubleback mark. The files on your phone never do. One purchase takes the mark off for good, on every iPhone signed into your App Store account, and ready to post files already made are remade clean on their own. Bought it before? Setup has Restore purchase.
Permissions
Camera and microphone are required. Location is optional and only stamps clips with where they were filmed. Change any of them in iOS Settings under Doubleback.
